Premier League rights in Malaysia moved again this season, which means the answer to “where can I actually watch this” changed again too. Here is the current position, with kickoff times converted to Malaysian time so you can plan around them.

The Premier League schedule is built around UK afternoons, which lands awkwardly here. During UK summer time, add seven hours; in winter, add eight.

• Saturday 12:30 UK → 19:30 / 20:30 MYT. The friendly one.
• Saturday 15:00 UK → 22:00 / 23:00 MYT.
• Saturday 17:30 UK → 00:30 / 01:30 MYT Sunday.
• Sunday 16:30 UK → 23:30 / 00:30 MYT.
• Midweek 20:00 UK → 03:00 / 04:00 MYT. Set an alarm or don’t bother.

The options

Pay TV. The traditional route, bundled with other sport you may or may not want. Best picture quality, most reliable, most expensive, and it usually requires a contract term.

Streaming. Cheaper on a monthly basis and no installation. Worth checking which matches are actually included — “all matches” and “all live matches” are different promises, and blackout rules still apply to some slots.

Telco bundles. Frequently the cheapest effective price if you are already paying one of the major providers for fibre or mobile. The sports add-on is usually priced to keep you on the main contract rather than to make money on its own.
